Stefan Buchberger created this innovative fridge for Electrolux’s Design Lab 2008. Consisting of a base station and up to 4 seperate stackable modules, each section is removable and customizable with various skins, a bottle opener and a whiteboard! What a great idea!
To me, this feels very “Jetsons-ish”: fun, cool, different , colorful, and out of this world!… ok, not so much “out of the world,” but it seemed fitting to say!
… And I have to say that it kinda reminds me of some Spite commercial where they rammed two “flavors” of fridges together to get this lemon-lime conglomeration.
Check out other cool ideas like this at this modern architectural design blog, or more specifically to the “Perfect Fridge for Roommates” article.
Maybe I will post more form them in the future, because they have some great ideas and photos of interesting stuff…. Also see this modern furniture. this stuff would be awesome to have as a little sitting areas in out home, as long as it was comfortable too!… You can’t have cool furniture and not have guests come over to see it — and who wants uncomfortable guests?
