Okay, so that isn’t so off the wall when I type it out,… but still! I think of places to eat, and massages, and car oil changes, or even some home repair or carpet cleaning — but not Plastic Surgery! Crazy.

This is the ad that gave me a chuckle. (A pretty add that 105 people already bought — a great deal if you are a change your appearance kind-of-person.) So, if you are due for a face flit, tummy tuck, or non-invasive face transplant (as seen recently in Fort worth as the first successful face transplant), then this plastic surgery deal is for you!

Back to what is important! I have finally gotten the SNAPPLE of ALL Snapples, Papaya Mango Tea! This stuff was so great that I charged our 9-year-old son $1 to have one from the case! No jooking. He now has one less dollar, but some Amazing greatness in his belly.

So, I would have drank it in under 30-seconds, but I had to stop and ask my wife to take a photo of the glorious time that me and this drank first kissed. (Would have been better with a spicy chicken sandwich! But I digress…)

I am making a vow on LIVE internet right now that if SNAPPLE sends me 3 cases of Papaya Mango Tea, I will pour not one (1) but seven (7)! of them on my head while screaming that Snapple is the Greatest Stuff on Earth! In between each one, I will GUZZLE a tea and do it all over again!… Meanwhile, my (beautiful, pregnant) wife (and daughter growing inside) will be drinking sipping on a cold Snapple, trying not to spit it out as the laughs at me! What a great experience it will be! … Not only will I do this, but I will film it and place it on youtube for the world to see! … bUU-YA!

Currently drinking something made from the best stuff on earth… Well at least a version with aspartame to make it diet… At least it’s peach flavored. haha! Yes! (Happy dance).

View the video on Viddler from Engadget on the new iPhone 4 changes when it comes to Verizon. There are not many changes — but the phone is running iOS 4.25, over the AT&T’s 4.1. Also, a nice little upgrade is the ability to have the phone be a mobile hotspot as well to over mobile devices or computers near you. That will make connecting to the internet on the laptop while driving down the road on those long car trips nice.

… I also got this email this morning from Verizon enticing me to switch my phone over to the new iPhone 4. Will I do it? Okay, so on to better things… like bed bugs! Did you know that Bedbugs have been making a come back in recent years? 6 decade ago they were almost gone… but the little suckers just won’t die! Kinda like Jason in Freddy vs. Jason…. (I have not seen the movie, but that quote from the trailer years back stuck out in my brain when I typed that. Anywho… See the infographic below about bedbugs and this article that helps to point it out.

Where my wife and I live, Dallas, is not in the top 15 cities that have bedbugs, but where my in-laws live, in Denver, they are #6. Wow! I guess it’s too cold for the bugs outside so they have to snuggle up against someone to get some body heat, and sip on some blood that has that cool rocky mountain air and water flowing through it. Good luck Mountain friends!

Remember when being “wired” as a kid meant knowing how to use a rotary phone to call granny? (Or that you snuck a snip of mom’s coffee?)

Well, Technology has hit warp speed and today’s tots are more wired than ever. New research reveals that a full 81 percent of children under the age of two in ten surveyed nations boast some sort online presence and 8 percent even have their own email address. (WHAT? Really?!!)

All these tiny-sized digital footprints may seem cute now, but what happens when little Billy applies for a job and potty training pictures show up in his Google search?

At least we do know that recently the FAA approved the Terrafugia Flying Car, which look pretty awesome! It will be available next year, and as long as you have a pilot’s license and $194K, you’re good to go!

The test prototype has been flying for about a year, but plane-maker Terrafugia will unveil its production-class plane next month at the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual convention in Oshkosh, Wisc.

The Transition drives like a car, uses normal high-octane gasoline, has front-wheel-drive and even comes with airbags. Its fuel economy is about 30 miles per gallon. But unlike your Prius, it can unfold its wings and fly. You’ll only need a one-third of a mile strip for a runway, meaning you could conceivably use your own street. It is powered by a rear propeller and flies about 115 miles per hour.

Okay,… Hmm…. I think that for the price, I would want more than 30 mpg, but that it take regular gas — to be able to get to work … oh in about 4 minutes!… that might be worth thinking about it more when the price comes down $150K to a more affordable price.

Burning up the golf score card!

Over the weekend, a golfer’s routine swing in the rough at the Shady Canyon Golf Course in Irvine, Calif., struck a rock. Not so different from the way you play, right? Only this time, the impact caused a spark, and the spark set off a blaze that eventually covered 25 acres, according to the Steven Buck, General Manager of Shady Canyon Golf Course, and required the efforts of 150 Orange County firefighters, writes the Associated Press.

Wow. And I felt bad the time I shanked a ball through the window of a house too close to the fairway. That was nothing compared to this!

The golfer’s name is being withheld, which is probably for the best, and no charges are going to be filed. Fortunately, it all could have been much worse. As it was, the blaze required both helicopters and on-the-ground crews.

The conditions were ripe for a blaze, with dry brush from a recent heat wave just waiting for the right spark. Like, say, one caused by metal on rock.

There have been plenty of stories over the years of drivers blindly following their GPS over a cliff or onto railroad tracks. After doing such things, it may be natural for the driver to blame the technology, though it’s unlikely to help you out much in court. However, it appears that one pedestrian has taken things a step further. After using Google’s “still in beta” (for a good reason) “walking directions” while trying to get somewhere in Park City, Utah, she found herself on a highway, where she was hit by a car. So, in response, she’s suing both Google and the driver of the car. Danny Sullivan explores the issue in much greater detail at that link, and comes to the same conclusion I assume many of you already jumped to: at some point, you just have to assume some sense of responsibility if you’re the pedestrian. Sullivan pops out the following two Street View images showing the road in question, and wonders why the woman didn’t realize that this road was not designed to be crossed. The first photo is of the intersection she would come to before crossing (note: no crosswalk).

My thought is that the person that she is suing should counter sue her for negligent stupidity for WALKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD! C’mon… have some sense lady. — and who is not to know if she jsut didn’t want to get hit so that she could get some recognition or sue for money?

To me, this feels very “Jetsons-ish”: fun, cool, different , colorful, and out of this world!… ok, not so much “out of the world,” but it seemed fitting to say!

… And I have to say that it kinda reminds me of some Spite commercial where they rammed two “flavors” of fridges together to get this lemon-lime conglomeration.
