We just received an email from the family research council stating that Obama is trying to change the child tax credit to only include families where both parents are working, or if it is a single parent working, or if one parent is working and the other is in school.
Basically, all families that choose to have one parent stay home to care for their children will no longer receive a tax break.
If you feel the way I do, that parents should be able to choose how their children are cared for and not get penalized for it than please go to this link http://www.taxcreditforfamilies.org and sign the petition!
